Q. If I send you an Email will you reply?
A.
I'll try to reply to you as soon as possible, but I am very busy at school and may not get back to you right away. I hope to hear from you soon.

Q. Do you expect us to pay all of your tuition?
A.
That would be very nice but I do NOT expect that. Like I mentioned before, I have been working while I was in undergraduate and graduate school and have saved up some money on my own along with a college savings account from my parents. All I am asking is for a little extra help from others.

Q. Why don't you just live off of your loans until you are finished with school and then worry about paying back your tuition?
A. First, the earlier that I can pay back my loans the better. It means that I can charge less for my services as a veterinarian and will also allow me to have more time to spend giving back to others by providing low cost spay and neuter clinics, volunteering at shelters etc. Also, while my loans do cover school tuition they only cover an additional $20,000 a year for living expenses and additional school expenses which works out to only being able to spend $12 a day.

Q. Why don't you get a job?
A.
Good question! Veterinary school is going to take up a minimum of 50hrs/wk. The school strongly suggests NOT working while in school. While I have always worked while I was an undergrad and even graduate student I do not want to mess up this opportunity. I want to be a great veterinarian and would like to focus on my studies.

Q. What makes you think that people will donate money to you?
A.
People have donated to paying off a persons credit card debt (SaveKaryn.com)and helping a woman divorce her husband so why shouldn't people want to donate to helping a hardworking student pay her tuition? If their are people out there that buy acres of rainforest and donate money to sponsor an animal then their should be someone who would like to sponsor their very own vet student (me).

Q. What makes you a worthwhile cause?
A.
I am very hardworking and determined. Here is a list of some of my accomplishments:
*I proposed a new major at my undergraduate college and became the first person to graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Complementary Pre-Veterinary Medicine.
*I earned a Master of Science in Biology while going to school and working as a veterinary technician FULL TIME. I also wrote my thesis on Cancer in Large Breed Dogs.
*I volunteer every week at Animal's Can't Talk.
*I am a Certified Veterinary Technician.
